Green Sweeping 2025

Now that the work on the green has been completed Green Sweeping can start again from Monday 10th February.  However, can the 'sweepers' please ensure that they do not sweep the area within two metres of each edge until further advice. 

Green sweeping is a very important task within the maintenance of our green and as such the green has to be swept early every morning, every day of the year (weather and further green maintenance permitting)   This sweeping is undertaken by our member volunteers.  However, from time to time and for various reasons, so we appeal to any member who feel they could volunteer just one 30 minute green sweeping session each month, to contact either Tony Badain or John Collis.   

Attached is our current green sweeping rota from January to March which also shows even more days without sweeping cover.
